Recession Proof Your Life : Revealed Secrets Of Christian Tithing.

Most Christian folks have take tithing out of their minds by thinking that It was done only on the Old Testament. In this hub I'm gonna reveal the truth about tithing and It's affects in our lives.

So What is tithing? Well Tithing is the giving away of your ten percent of all your increase to God. Well other Christian folks think that the same amount of money they give as an offering It's also a tithe, this is definitely wrong. A tithe is separate from what you give as an offering. When you sow a seed that's not a tithe , so they are all different. God set aside tithe, which is the ten percent of your increase for himself only and left the other 90 percent to do whatever you like with It.
Tithing is a way to maintain the flow of God's blessings and remain established in peace. Peace or shalom is having security in the midst of trials. Shalom is Hebrew for peace,prosperity and continuous blessing.

So What Happens When You Tithe.
This question can be answered in (Genesis 12:1-4) that says ,The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.

2 "I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."
So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.

In this scripture we see Abraham being given a promise by God because of his obedience. Many people think that a blessing is the car,house or other physical materials but It's not those are jut the results of the blessing.The blessing gives you supernatural ability to overcome difficult circumstances and get results.How do we get the blessing? We get the blessing through obedience only. The result of the blessing is success. Abraham became wealthy mainly because of his obedience.(Genesis 12:4, 13:1, 2)

Although Abraham had the promise he was not permanently established in the blessing until he presented a tithe to Melchizedek the high priest.. Abraham gave the ten percent of his increase in which he won from the battle to Melchizedek ( Genesis 14:20 ). From there Abraham was permanently established on the blessing as it is written in Genesis 14:19 saying,

and he blessed Abram, saying,
"Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator ^[a] of heaven and earth

Jesus Christ made it possible for us to partake in the blessing as it is written in (Genesis 3:13,14) saying,

3Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written,"Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."^[a]He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Now Jesus is our High Priest forever , so as you tithe your tithing to him. Like Abraham presented his tithe to Melchizedek and receive the blessing so can all Christian folks present their tithe to Jesus and receive the blessing kept for them.

The blessing is given to us in a form wisdom or instruction that God gives us and If we obey those instructions they produce the results.In order to do this we should know how to hear God's voice. Check out the hubs that I have posted on hearing God's voice.
